Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with 3D scanning when necessary.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing questions and concerns in a compassionate manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, four-handed dentistry, aseptic techniques, medical imaging, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is highly desirable.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for providing quality dental care is essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
