a Dental Front Office Administrative Assistant

COMPENSATION: $25-30 PER HOUR, DOE
Hours: Tuesday through Thursday / Friday (half-day)

Must possess excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills, be positive, outgoing, people person, a self-starter, and strong organizational skills.

Must have 3+ years minimum experience in a Dental Front Office Management position. Experience in Dental industry terminology, dental billing, patient scheduling, insurance benefits, treatment plans, and practice management software (Dentrix, etc.) and management of staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients.

Manage the entire office and staff.
Verification of dental insurance and strong knowledge all insurances.
Answering phones with the utmost in customer service
Preparation of treatment plan for presentation to patients
Updating insurance information in practice management software
Checking patients out and taking payment
Schedule patients in both Hygiene and Treatment
Conduct with input in Morning Huddles and Team (staff) meetings
Preparation of Invisalign (clear aligners) plans for presentation to patients
Keep the waiting lobby and office, clean, neat, and organized.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail/deliveries and lab orders
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Other administrative duties, as required by the doctor or designee
Completes Monthly New Patient reports and other needed production reports.

Additional Skill Sets Needed:
Excellent Follow-Through and Accountability
Internet Savvy with knowledge in Microsoft Office software
Invisalign (clear aligners) experience desired
