Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in dental terminology and billing systems.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Utilize EagleSoft and other systems for patient management, including dental billing and coding tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with insurance verification and processing claims when necessary.
Provide support to the dental team by coordinating communication between patients and other healthcare providers.
Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
Proficiency in computerized systems, particularly EagleSoft or similar software.
Familiarity with dental terminology and dental billing processes.
Excellent patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all visitors.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Minimum one year experience in dental setting is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
