Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the practice, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Oversee the implementation and use of Athena EMR for efficient practice management.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and expense management.
- Provide training and support to staff on administrative processes and software use.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management within a medical or dental clinic setting.
- Familiarity with Athena or similar practice management software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of acute care, critical care, and managed care environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of medical administrative support functions and best practices.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance.
