Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Manager to work along side the Dentist and Business Manager, overseeing the in-office daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth workflow, maintain high standards of patient care, and manage administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a blend of leadership, financial management, and knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Duties
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Manage financial aspects including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for record keeping and billing processes.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to attract new patients.
- Able to fill in assisting when needed
Skills
- Strong background in Dentistry and dental assisting, financial management and budgeting within a dental office setting.
- Proficient in human resources practices including recruitment and staff management.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to dentistry.
- Experience using Eaglesoft software is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all office practices.
- Previous experience in acute care or clinic settings is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 26 per week
