Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a dynamic medical environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our clinic or hospital setting.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using computerized systems.
Maintain patient records accurately and securely, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling any necessary paperwork.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication within the clinic or hospital.
Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for patients.

Skills

Proven experience in medical administrative support or as a medical receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Proficient in computer use, including office software applications for scheduling and record management.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is a plus for those applying to dental clinics.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
