Duties

Oversee daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Manage scheduling for dental appointments and coordinate with staff to optimize patient flow.
Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Maintain medical management systems and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Implement fiscal management practices to ensure the financial health of the practice.
Utilize Open Dental software for patient records management and billing processes.
Collaborate with dental professionals to support acute care needs and enhance patient experiences.
Provide medical administrative support by managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical office management principles and practices.
Proficiency in healthcare management systems, particularly Open Dental.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff alike.
