Work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7 hours per day
Assists and prepares patients for examinations or treatments by greeting them in the reception area, seating them in operatory, putting bib on and adjusting exam chair. Assists dentist with air, water, evacuation, restorative materials and instruments at the operatory chair.
Assists dentist engaged in diagnostic, operative, surgical, periodontal, preventative, orthodontic, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontic and related procedures during examination and treatment of patients.
Responsible to take clinical images with either an intra-oral camera or I-Phone. Images to be stored in VixWin software or forwarded to lab or Invisalign.
Assist in acquisition of clinical information, communication and delivery of Invisalign items for orthodontic cases.
Assists dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Provide postoperative instructions prescribe by the dentist.
Take preliminary impressions and pour-up study casts and occlusal registration for mounting study casts.
Fabricate temporary restorations and take PVS impressions for crown, bridge, canal implant dentistry. Pour, trim, study casts. Take dental diagnostic x-rays both film and digital.
Disinfect operatory counters, treatment/exam chair, air/water systems and hand pieces by prescribed regulations.
Prepares packages and sterilizes instruments by the prescribed regulations in the autoclave or dryclave.
Maintain inventory control and performs light duties in office and equipment.
Responsible for cleaning of clinical rooms, light vacuuming and disposing of daily garbage.
Work day ends when the last patient is dismissed and next day operatories are set up and next day schedule are reviewed.
