Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the dental office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
Supervise and train administrative staff, including receptionists and dental assistants.
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation.
Oversee appointment scheduling, billing processes, and insurance claims management.
Implement practice management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor fiscal management activities to ensure the financial health of the practice.
Collaborate with dental professionals to support critical care initiatives and utilization management.
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience in medical administrative support or practice management within a dental or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management systems is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in human resources functions, including staff recruitment and training.
Knowledge of fiscal management principles related to healthcare practices is preferred.
Previous experience working as a nurse or in critical care settings is a plus.
