We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Implant Quality Control Technician to join the Bayshore Dental Studio team. As an Implant Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision, accuracy, and quality of various implant cases. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in handling different implant systems and components, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and discuss case plans with dentists and other dental professionals.
Responsibilities:
Implant Quality Assurance: Thoroughly inspect and evaluate incoming implant components to ensure they meet the required standards for quality, precision, and accuracy. Perform meticulous quality control checks on dental implants, abutments, and associated prosthetic components.
Case Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to discuss and understand case plans involving implant systems. Provide valuable insights and technical expertise to ensure the successful integration of implant components into involving dental implants.
Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in implant components promptly and effectively. Work closely with the production team to resolve technical challenges and improve overall product quality.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to dental implants and quality control. Ensure that the lab's procedures align with current dental industry guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements in the quality control workflow. Strive to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred candidates will possess additional certifications or training in dental technology, implant manufacturers/components and quality control. Proven experience working with dental implant systems in a dental laboratory setting is essential.
Implant System Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and familiarity with a variety of implant systems from different manufacturers. Proficiency in handling and understanding implant components, including implants, abutments, and related prosthetic parts.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment. Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and dental laboratory software is an advantage.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals. The ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner is crucial.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality control throughout the entire process.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, troubleshoot, and propose effective solutions.
