Job Description
As a Dental Lab Impression Scanning Technician at Bayshore Dental Studio, you will play a crucial role in the scanning and management of dental impressions and models. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating Impressions/Models for Eligibility for Scanning: Physically evaluate incoming materials provided by the dental practice to confirm that scanning the case will result in a successful result in the final product.
- Scanning Impressions/Models: Use advanced scanning equipment to digitize dental impressions and models with high precision.
- Evaluating Scans: Review scans for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary details are captured.
- Editing Scans:Edit/trim scans to ensure margin clarity and removal of excess data.
- Organizing and Managing Physical Impressions/Models: Efficiently store and organize physical impressions and models, maintaining a well-ordered workspace.
Qualifications:
- Dental Technician Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Technician. 4 years minimum required.
- Excellent Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and scanning software (CAD) is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of scans.
- Highly Responsible: You will need to ensure that all work is completed and correct on a daily basis.
