Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to assist a highly trained, experienced dentist to work 35-40 hours a week. We will NOT ask you to work late on week nights or weekends. We value someone who is a team player, is a continuous learner and who puts patients first.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
