We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Rocky Mount – Oakwood team. Position Summary

As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional oral health care to our patients. You’ll play a vital role in preventive care, patient education, and clinical support, all while upholding the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient screenings, including medical history and periodontal charting
Perform dental cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments
Take and interpret radiographs
Apply sealants and educate patients on oral hygiene and dietary habits
Maintain accurate electronic health records
Assist in treatment planning and patient communication
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
Serve as a primary treatment coordinator and liaison between patient and dentist
Support ancillary duties as needed

Qualifications

Must be present by 8:15 AM daily (clinic opens at 8:30 AM)
Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Current North Carolina Dental Hygienist license required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to confidentiality and patient care excellence
Flexibility and a positive attitude toward changing assignments

Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule: 8-hour shifts
Work Location: In-person at Rocky Mount, NC 27801
License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
Relocation: Must be able to relocate prior to start date

Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
