Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Front Office Administrative Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, dental codes, and patient management systems, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize assigned duties efficiently and effectively to best help other staff members and patients.
- Analyze treatment plans to assure correct codes and estimated patient portions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix, Dental Intel, and Vyne
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data security.
- Provide a triage of patient education on oral health care and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct insurance verification and assist with dental billing processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous dental experience is required
- Dental Assistants are encouraged to apply
- Experience with EHR systems such as Dentrix, Dental Intel and Vyne is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental coding and dental insurance is preferred.
- Strong schedule management is a key qualification
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
