Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team on Fort Bragg to see Service members 2 times a month. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various surgical procedures and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups.
Maintain accurate medical documentation throughout the surgical process, utilizing systems such as Dentrix.
Healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical options, risks, and recovery processes.
Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies relevant to the field of surgery.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Surgery or relevant specialty is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient assessment, and medical documentation practices.
Experience in prosthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques and dental fabrication processes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in medicine.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
