Advanced Dental Care is a small, high paced dental office on the East Side of Providence, RI. We are a private office run by one doctor who is looking for a professional, experienced and friendly dental assistant.

**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled, experienced (3 years plus) Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be dependable and possess knowledge of dental procedures, experience in assisting with a variety of dental tasks and have the ability to be a team player.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures in a timely manner

- Take and record medical, dental histories and vital signs of patients

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery and other dental treatment procedures

- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Assist with dental radiography (X-rays)

- Perform dental management tasks that often require the use of computer technology

**Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of 3D scanner systems for dental imaging

- Proficiency in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately

- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

- Experience with Dentrix

- Ability to maintain accurate dental records

- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry technique
