Overview
We are a family practice seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience from the moment they enter our office. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in dental terminology and procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient treatment plans, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

Manage patient treatment plans and ensure they align with clinical recommendations.
Coordinate appointments and follow-ups for patients, ensuring timely communication regarding their treatment.
Utilize EMR systems effectively to document patient information, including medical history and treatment notes.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate with dental professionals to provide comprehensive care, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more.
Educate patients on treatment options and post-care instructions using clear dental terminology.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within the clinic environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is a must, with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Background in pediatrics or pediatric dentistry is beneficial for working effectively with younger patients.
