Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks within a dental office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental terminology and medical office procedures.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar using EHR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance claims processing.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct intake procedures, including collecting medical history and updating patient information.
Handle phone calls using multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and maintaining organized medical records.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before patient visits.
Provide support in managing care plans and coordinating with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
