Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our quality dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans, ensuring accurate dental benefit to everypatient, and providing exceptional patient service. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in OpenDental preferred, and a solid understanding of dental terminology. The Treatment Coordinator will work closely with both clinical staff and patients to facilitate seamless communication and care delivery.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Manage billing and collections, including insurance verification and patient payments.
- Review medical records for compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Proficient clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding their treatment plans and accounts and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and insurance processes
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills; experience in administrative support roles is beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
