MUST HAVE DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dentalpractice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and medical staff, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding, and administrative processes within a clinical setting.

Duties

Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure effective communication among healthcare providers.
Manage medical billing and collections, including insurance verification and patient follow-ups.
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and Dentrix to maintain patient records.
Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism.
Assist with medical coding using CPT and ICD-10 codes for accurate billing processes.
Provide administrative support by maintaining organized medical records and filing systems.
Engage with patients to provide excellent customer service and address inquiries regarding their treatment plans.

Skills

Proficiency in medical collection processes and insurance verification.
Familiarity with EHR systems including Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, and Medicare guidelines.
Experience in clinic or hospital settings with a focus on patient service and care coordination.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency and typing accuracy (10 key typing preferred).
Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
