We are seeking a dedicated an skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging as necessary.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology.
- Proficient in performing root canal therapy and other complex dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
