Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in dental patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm dental patient appointments using dental scheduling software (Open Dental)
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Assistant role:

-Assist doctor with operative and crown and bridge procedures. Clean and disinfect room.

Clean and sterilize instruments.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist and assistant
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental scheduling software (Open Dental)
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
