Join our dynamic team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, manages appointments, and assists with various dental procedures. What you’ll do
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling phone inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking dental radiographs, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Dentrix Ascend .
- Process medical billing and insurance verification to facilitate seamless patient transactions.
- Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology and coding systems such as CPT and ICD-10.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop care plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems to support office efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of billing processes is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in G-Mail applications.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks.
