Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Schedule and confirm appointments using Dental software.
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone systems effectively, addressing inquiries and directing calls as needed.
Process dental collections and manage billing inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Provide support to dental staff as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Experience with Dental software or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously.
Computer literate with strong clerical skills for efficient record management.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
