Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, human resources, and medical terminology, along with proficiency in Dentrix and electronic medical records. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure efficient workflow, maintain high standards of patient care, and manage administrative tasks effectively. Salary of $60-70,000 and year plus bonus up to $10,000

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
Manage scheduling for patients and staff, optimizing appointment availability and minimizing wait times.
Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Handle billing and budgeting processes, including insurance claims and patient payments.
Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure effective communication regarding patient treatment plans.
Implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Assist in human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in dental office management.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office management role or similar position within a medical setting, at least 10 years experience
Must be willing to commute between two offices, Lansing and Flushing
Proficiency in Dentrix software and electronic medical records systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and dental procedures.
Experience in supervising staff and managing human resources functions.
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a healthcare environment.
Previous experience in hospital settings or acute care is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
