JOB OVERVIEW

Our client is looking for a hands-on, motivated Dental Office Manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have tough skin, excellent team management abilities, and a solid understanding of dentistry and dental office operations. This individual should be confident in handling both the clinical and administrative sides of the practice—someone who leads by example, keeps the team organized and accountable, and ensures each day runs efficiently and successfully.

Schedule is 40 hours a week, with $80K annual salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, coach, and support the dental team to achieve daily production and performance goals.
Manage and assist with front desk operations, including scheduling, patient coordination, and financial arrangements.
Create and present accurate treatment plans to patients.
Handle and send scans, combings, and lab communications.
Oversee crown cases and ensure timely lab coordination.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling, billing, reporting, and patient management.
Maintain a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure daily operations run seamlessly.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in dental office management or a similar leadership role.
Proficient in digital technology and comfortable navigating modern dental software and systems.
Reports directly to the Practice Administrator and supports seamless office operations.
Proficiency in Dentrix is required.
Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental terminology, and treatment procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to handle challenges with professionalism.
Hands-on approach with the abilityto multitask in a fast-paced environment.

EXPECTATIONS

The Office Manager will oversee scheduling, treatment planning, and crown cases, as well as manage administrative tasks such as sending scans and combings, coordinating treatment plans in the $5,000–$10,000 range, maintaining accurate patient records, and optimizing office efficiency through Dentrix.
