Job Summary:

Norbo Dental is a family-owned dental practice located in the heart of Purcellville, Virginia.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Treatment and Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This important role requires at least two years of dental office experience, knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, and both strong communication and time-management skills.

Duties:

- Effectively and compassionately communicate with patients regarding treatment recommendations/options, appointment sequencing, and financial arrangements

- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatments

- Assist with all aspects of dental front desk responsibilities as needed, including but not limited to answering a multi-line phone system, patient information intake, and patient check in/check out

Skills:

- Positive, proactive, and productive attitude

- Proficient in dental coding and terminology

- Experience with Dentrix practice management software is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite

This is a 40 hour/week position and will not exceed. The schedule will be primarily Monday-Friday with Friday being a half-day. Also, employee will be required to close one day per week, typically until 5:30 PM or when the last patient leaves.
