Your role will be vitally important to keeping our practice running smoothly & maintaining our valued patients in the highest level of dental health. As an Office Manager Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dental care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and they experience Lakewood Family hospitality.
Greet patients upon arrival and manage incoming calls promptly.
Handle all aspects of patient scheduling, including appointments and confirmation calls.
Manage dental insurance processes, including breakdowns, claims, and posting payments from both patients and insurance companies.
Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks, including staff supervision, adherence to procedures, and managing office orders.
Maintain a professional and clean office environment.
Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Support doctors with treatment planning, overcoming patient barriers, and scheduling follow-up treatments.
Serve as a role model for the team and a partner to the Office Manager.

Qualifications:

Dental Front Desk and scheduling in a dental office for at least 2 years (Required)
Experience with dental insurance, claims and EOBs (Required)
Experience with Dentrix (Preferred)
Experiencing leading teams (preferred)
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
