Responsibilities:
- Perform complex oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for facial trauma or injuries.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of oral conditions, such as infections, tumors, cysts, and congenital abnormalities.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients about their conditions and recommended treatment options.
- Monitor patients post-surgery to ensure proper healing and manage any complications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
- Valid state dental license.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in an understandable manner.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in anesthesia or sedation.
- Experience in managing complex oral and maxillofacial conditions.
- Proficiency in using the latest surgical technologies and equipment
Pay: $300,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 per year
