Manhattan Bridge Orthodontics is hiring a Lab / Sterilization Technician to join our team.
This is an entry-level position with a clear path to becoming an Orthodontic Dental Assistant. High-performing lab techs are cross-trained and promoted into chairside roles.
We’re looking for someone who is Chinese-speaking, hands-on, organized, and interested in building a long-term career in orthodontics.
Job Duties
Lab & Sterilization
- Sterilize instruments using Cavicide, BioSonic, and STATIM
- Maintain handpieces and lab equipment
- Package, organize, and restock instruments and trays
- Keep the lab clean and organized
Orthodontic Lab Work
- Pour and trim impressions
- Create indirect bonding trays, retainers, and night guards
- Process 3D teeth scans and assist with 3D printing
- Label, document, and organize completed lab cases
Team Support
- Set up and clean the lab daily
- Help maintain shared staff areas as needed
Requirements
- Chinese-speaking (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) required
- Able to work at both Manhattan (Chinatown) and Flushing (Queens) locations
- Interest in dentistry or orthodontics
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
- Prior dental or lab experience a plus, but not required
- Former MBO patients encouraged to apply
