Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant (DA) at River Valley Dentistry, you'll play a vital role in assisting our team of professionals to deliver outstanding dental care to our valued patients. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual who not only possesses exceptional clinical skills but also aligns with our core values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures and treatments, including but not limited to restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and surgical procedures.
- Take patient medical histories and vital signs, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for various procedures.
- Perform expanded functions within the scope of state regulations and guidelines.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Registred Dental Assistant (RDA) .
- X-ray certification and CPR certification required.
- Proficient in dental software and technology.
- Miniumum of [1] year experience working at a DA in a dental practice
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathetically engage with patients.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork.
