Proud Son Dental Marketing is an award-winning boutique marketing agency that partners exclusively with dental practices across the country. Our belief is simple: a dentist’s online presence should reflect the quality of their dentistry. Everything we do—from websites to social media to Google Ads—is built around that idea.

We’re a small, relationship-driven team based in Austin, TX, and many of our clients practice comprehensive, high-quality dentistry. We work closely with dentists and their teams, which means understanding dentistry is not optional—it’s essential.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with firsthand dental practice experience—someone who has worked as a dental hygienist, dental assistant, front office coordinator, or in another clinical or administrative role and understands how a dental office truly operates.

You don’t need to be a social media expert—we can teach the platforms, tools, and strategy. What we can’t teach as easily is:

How dentistry actually works
How patients think and feel
How to speak authentically about dental care without sounding generic or salesy

If you’ve worked in a dental office and have a strong eye for aesthetics, organization, and communication, this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, create, and schedule social media content for dental practices using tools like Meta Business Suite
Write clear, patient-friendly captions that accurately reflect dental procedures, services, and practice culture
Select and organize images and short video clips from client photo libraries (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)
Collaborate with our founder and creative team on monthly content ideas and campaigns
Review engagement metrics and help refine content strategy over time
Attend one weekly in-person meeting in Austin (typically a 1-hour strategy session)

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working in a dental practice (clinical or administrative)
Strong attention to detail and an eye for clean, professional aesthetics
Comfortable writing and communicating clearly
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple client accounts
Curious and open to learning social media strategy, tools, and best practices

Bonus (Not Required)

Any experience with social media, photography, Canva, or content creation
Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook from a business perspective
