From chairside assisting to managing medical documentation, you’ll be at the heart of our dental clinic, ensuring every patient leaves with a smile!
What you’ll do
- Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring compliance with infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems, curve to ensure accurate patient information is maintained.
- Provide excellent chairside assistance, helping to keep patients comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Conduct vital signs assessments and assist with medical imaging as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Utilize your knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures to educate patients about their treatment plans.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with prosthodontic dentistry practices is a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices.
- Experience with prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Ability to operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques.
