Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Update and maintain patient dental records

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring molds and fabricating temporary crowns

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- X-ray certification

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols

The ideal applicant would be willing to take on some administrative duties such as sending out pre authorizations, working on appeals, scheduling patients, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
