Pediatric Dentist – Startup Opportunity with Path to Ownership

We are opening an exciting new pediatric dental practice in Washougal, WA, and are seeking a pediatric dentist who is energized by leadership, community impact, and the opportunity to help build something special from the ground up—with a clear future path to ownership.
This is a rare startup opportunity with 600-800 established pediatric patients ready from Day 1, a new, incredible facility, and a highly engaged community that already knows and trusts us.
About the Opportunity
- Startup pediatric dental practice opening within the next 6 months (ideal start: June)
- 600-800 pediatric patients transferring from a well-established general dental practice
- Fully staffed team to start:
- 2 Front Desk
- 2 Dental Assistants
- 1 Hygienist
(Team will grow as patient volume increases)
- Strong, long-standing reputation in the community
- High demand for pediatric dental care in East Clark County
For the first 12–15 months, our general dental practice will operate in the same space. After this transition period, the pediatric practice will expand into more traditional daytime hours as the general practice moves to a new facility nearby.
Initial Schedule (First 12–15 Months)
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Potential Saturday hours (during the first year) may be added if patient growth and demand support it
After the 12–15 month transition, hours will shift to a more standard pediatric dental schedule.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a pediatric dentist who:
- Has excellent chairside manner with both children and parents
- Is a natural leader who enjoys mentoring staff and helping shape practice culture
- Is excited by a startup environment and understands the rewards that come with building something meaningful
- Is ownership-focused and interested in a future partnership/ownership opportunity
- Is moldable, collaborative, and aligned with our treatment philosophies
- Values quality care, communication, and long-term relationships
- Has orthodontic knowledge (a plus, but not required)
Community Involvement
Community outreach is a core expectation and value of this role. For the past 15 years, we have been deeply involved in Washougal, including:
- Annual visits to local elementary schools for dental health education
- Participation in the local health fair
- Sponsorship of the Washougal Schools Foundation – Stride for Education
