The Practice Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice's financial viability. The PM will provide leadership and guidance to achieve practice success. He/she will collaborate with the regional team to develop and execute a robust marketing plan and manage/motivate team members to be successful. The PM will perform various human resource functions such as timecard management, hiring, developing team members, and performance reviews.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
· Foster a patient-centric culture that reflects the practice values, encourages good performance, and recognizes hard-working team members.
· Build and nurture a positive working relationship with the doctor (s) and staff.
· Manages new employee onboarding, payroll, and employee performance to include performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
· Implement operating policies to support overall practice objectives, production, and profitability to include sales and community marketing activities.
· Plan and facilitate monthly team meetings to review practice goals, achievements, opportunities, and training.
· Lead daily morning huddles with the doctor and team to review the daily schedule and daily/weekly/monthly goals.
· Participate in the annual budget process and align the budget to achieve the practice growth plan.
· Assist in training all staff in the front office and back office on new protocol and policies.
· Audit daily charts and process the daily deposit for practice.
· Ensure the schedule is booked according to practice scheduling protocols.
· Plan yearly schedule under the direction of the Partner Orthodontist.
· Oversee and follow up on all insurance claims pending, billing statements, and payment arrangements.
· Ensure co-pays and balances are collected from patients over the counter daily.
· Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
· Adherence to all laws and regulations regarding dental operations, pay practices and Human Resources.
· Other duties as assigned by the doctor and/or regional manager as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Orthodontic Front Office experience (1-2 years)
· Dental / Orthodontic Management experience is a must (2 years)
· Ability to multitask and lead by example
· Knowledge of dental practice management software
· Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
· Ability to handle highly sensitive confidential matters
· Experience in an orthodontic environment is required
· Bachelors degree is preferred
· Self-directed, highly motivated outgoing individual that works well independently and collaborates with a team
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop strong, trusting relationships
· Organized, detail oriented, multi-tasker with the ability to reprioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Strong problem-solving skills
