Basalt Dentistry is a modern, relationship-focused dental practice in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley seeking an experienced Front Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator to join our team.
This is a key leadership role in our practice, responsible for ensuring an exceptional patient experience while coordinating scheduling, treatment presentation, and insurance processing.

Position Details
- Full time: 28–36 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4-day work week)
- Pay: $32-$40/hour depending on experience
- Location: Basalt, Colorado

Key Responsibilities
- Patient scheduling and schedule optimization
- Treatment plan presentation and financial coordination
- Dental insurance verification and claims processing
- Patient communication and follow-up
- Coordination between doctors, hygiene, and assisting teams
- Maintaining a welcoming and organized front office environment
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and fee for service insurance claims processing to ensure smooth daily workflow
- Coordinate treatment planning by discussing procedures, financial options, and appointment scheduling with patients to promote understanding and compliance
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support to uphold high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Oversee billing processes, coding accuracy, and collections using dental practice management EAGLESOFT, WEAVE
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of medical records and patient information
- Handle financial management tasks including budgeting, fee structuring, and monitoring practice revenue streams
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize clinic workflows, improve patient flow, and enhance overall office productivity
- Support human resources functions such as staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is professional, personable, reliable and experienced in dental office operations.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Prior dental front office experience
- Experience with treatment presentation and case acceptance
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to create a welcoming and positive patient experience
Skills
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administrative support with strong supervisory skills
- Expertise in dental practice management, preferably EAGLESOFT, WEAVE, DS CORE, ORTHOFX, SIRONA, FOTONA,
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within a dental setting; ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Knowledge of dental clinic operations combined with experience
- Effective communication skills for patient interactions, team coordination, and conflict resolution
