Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Utilize software for patient documentation and record keeping.
- Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding relevant to the practice.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care experiences.
