Duties

Manage all aspects of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows
Supervise front desk staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, billing, coding, and financial reporting using systems like Dentrix
Handle human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
Maintain knowledge of managed care policies, insurance billing procedures, and utilization management protocols to optimize revenue cycle management

Skills

Proven experience in dental office management within a dental setting with familiarity in dental clinic operations
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation
Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, medical records management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, vendors and healthcare providers
