Program Overview
The Smile Mission Advanced Clinical Residency Program is designed for new dentists who want to rapidly develop strong clinical skills while working in a real, high-volume clinical environment.
This program combines daily patient care, structured mentorship, and hands-on clinical learning within a modern multi-doctor dental group.
Residents work directly with experienced clinicians while treating patients from day one.
This is not shadowing. Residents perform dentistry daily while building real clinical confidence.
What You Will Experience
- Full-time clinical dentistry inside a high-volume group practice
- Consistent patient flow with diverse treatment needs
- Mentorship from experienced general dentists and specialists
- Exposure to advanced procedures including implants, full-arch implant restorations (All-on-X), orthodontics, molar endodontics, and surgical extractions including wisdom teeth
- Real treatment planning and case responsibility
- Hands-on learning in a modern digital dentistry workflow environment
Residents will receive mentorship and clinical guidance in areas including:
- Implant placement and restoration
- Full-arch implant treatment (All-on-X)
- Orthodontic treatment planning and management
- Molar root canal therapy
- Surgical extractions including impacted third molars
- Digital dentistry including intraoral scanning, treatment planning, and laboratory communication
Clinical Environment
- High patient demand and efficient systems
- In-house specialty collaboration when available
- Modern technology and digital dentistry workflows
- Strong clinical assistants and organized support teams
Residents are expected to work hard, treat patients confidently, and continuously improve their clinical abilities.
Compensation
Up to $10,000 per month, based on days worked.
High-performing residents are often offered long-term associate opportunities within Smile Mission following completion of the program.

Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Eligible for dental licensure in the state of practice
