Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
- Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to monitor patient health status
- Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and update medical records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
- Document all procedures accurately, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a dental hygienist.
- Familiarity with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
