We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is critical to keeping our office running smoothly and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in/out efficiently
- Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling
- Collect and process patient payments at the time of service
- Communicate clearly with patients about fees and financial policies
- No insurance billing or in-network processing required (our office is out-of-network with all insurance plans)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage daily schedule flow
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and care
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior dental or medical office experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus
- Comfort discussing fees and collecting payments from patients
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
