Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical records management, and proficiency in scaling and root planing and management of periodontal patients. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in educating patients about periodontal disease, oral hygiene and preventive care.

Duties

Perform scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance.
Take and record vital signs to monitor patient health.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Educate patients on periodontal disease, proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping.
Conduct dental imaging procedures as necessary to assist in diagnosis.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in treatment of periodontal patients.

Hours: 1 to 3 days per week with flexible work schedule
