Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy dental practice. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice, delivering exceptional patient care, and maintaining efficient administrative and financial processes. The ideal candidate Must possess a strong background in dental office management, dental office experience, and leadership skills to motivate and oversee staff. With a focus on compliance, fiscal responsibility, and quality assurance, you will play a key role in fostering a positive environment that promotes growth and excellence within the practice.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and administrative support to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery
Manage financial activities such as budgeting, fiscal management, and revenue cycle processes utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Manage A/R and maintain a 98%+ collection rate
Supervise staff including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative personnel, and other team members to promote teamwork and professional development
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and OSHA requirements
Coordinate functions including training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
Maintain accurate dental records and ensure proper documentation
Implement practice management strategies to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall patient experience

Requirements

Proven experience in dental office management
Strong supervisory skills with previous leadership or management experience in a dental setting
Knowledge of dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management
strong understanding of how to manage A/R and maintain a 98%+ collection rate
Understanding of dental terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations such as OSHA standards
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Background in dental administrative support or practice experience is advantageous
Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment focused on quality patient care
