We’re looking for a Lead Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is not only clinically strong, but also ready to step into a leadership role—guiding, supporting, and elevating the hygiene team.
What You’ll Do
As our Lead RDH, you’ll play a dual role—providing exceptional patient care while leading the hygiene department.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive hygiene visits, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Conduct oral health assessments and take diagnostic X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Perform oral cancer screenings
- Collaborate with doctors on treatment planning
Leadership & Operations
- Lead, mentor, and support the hygiene team
- Assist with training new hygienists
- Work alongside the Practice Manager to improve workflow and patient experience
- Monitor hygiene performance and key metrics
- Help maintain a full schedule and maximize daily production
- Act as a liaison between team members and leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Active Texas RDH license (TSBDE)
- Strong clinical skills in preventive and periodontal care
- Leadership mindset with the ability to coach and motivate others
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA standards
