Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary dental tools and materials in accordance with infection control standards.
Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments are readily available.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols.
Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
Provide chairside assistance by monitoring vital signs, applying aseptic techniques, and supporting patients through procedures to enhance comfort and cooperation.
Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and assisting the dental receptionist with patient check-in/out processes.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control practices and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and functioning properly.

Requirements

Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is highly preferred.
Dentrix, Endo Ortho And OS Experience a plus++
Experience in dental assisting with skills in chairside assisting, X-ray taking, infection control, and vital signs monitoring.
Familiarity with specialized areas like prosthodontics, endodontics, Oral Surgery and general dentistry procedures is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
