Addevale Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene services within the scope of practice.
- Review and update medical histories and complete patient screenings.
- Obtain and interpret digital radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
- Utilize the iTero digital scanner as needed for patient care and treatment planning.
- Accurately document clinical findings and treatment in Dentrix/Denticon.
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Support additional clinical needs of the practice as required.
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical dental hygiene experience.
- Experience with Dentrix, Denticon, iTero digital scanners, digital radiography, and other modern dental technologies.
- Familiarity with comprehensive periodontal care and patient education initiatives.
