Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix , ensuring optimal patient flow
- Collect payments, process medical and dental billing, and perform accurate documentation review for treatment plans and insurance claims
- Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of sensitive health information
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and provide exceptional patient service
- Assist with intake procedures, dental coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and review documentation to support accurate billing and care plans
Skills
- Extensive experience with software Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical billing procedures
- Proficiency in insurance verification processes
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience working in a busy clinic environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and data security
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as filing, documentation review, medical records management, and office management responsibilities
