Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify personal information, and assist with new patient intake processes
Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries with precision and professionalism
Manage multi-line phone systems, answer patient questions, and direct calls efficiently
Maintain accurate dental records, update patient files, and review documentation for completeness
Support office management tasks such as filing, faxing, data entry.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist with familiarity in dental office environments or clinics
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical billing, insurance verification, and medical coding practices
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing)
Ability to handle sensitive health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations with discretion and professionalism
Exceptional customer service skills paired with effective phone etiquette and communication abilities
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Prior clinic experience with medical administrative support or healthcare office management is preferred
