Dental Office ManagerPosition Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Office Manager to join our small, family-oriented dental practice in the beautiful community of Livingston, Montana. As the face of our office, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients while ensuring the daily operations of the practice run smoothly and efficiently.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPatient Relations
- Greet patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with patients and their families.
- Address patient questions and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Scheduling & Front Office
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Coordinate the daily schedule to maximize efficiency.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records.
Billing & Financial Coordination
- Prepare and submit insurance claims.
- Post payments and process patient balances.
- Collect patient payments and discuss financial arrangements when necessary.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and accounts receivable.
Office Management
- Order and maintain dental, office, and housekeeping supplies.
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and office vendors as needed.
- Assist with maintaining compliance and office documentation.
Clinical Support
When needed, assist the clinical team by:
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards.
- Assisting the dentist during procedures (training/certification as required).
- Preparing treatment rooms.
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and team members.
- Assist wherever needed to ensure excellent patient care and smooth office operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the practice.
Qualifications
- Previous dental office experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software and basic computer applications.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
